Learning to Lead an Imperfect Family

Welcome to our blog...

Thanks for taking the time to visit Learning to Lead the Imperfect Family. I am thrilled you are here.

I am a Christian husband and Dad who is still struggling to learn to love, lead, and nourish my large ( 10 in our home now, 12 overall) family for the glory of God. Every day is both a struggle and a pleasure. A blessing and a burden. Each day is filled with many belly laughs and often its share of tears. Nothing worth having in life ever comes without a cost. But I have found that with the right perspective and outlook, the good times far out weigh the difficult.

As Victoria, my awesome wife, and I walk together on this wonderful path to which God has called us, we pray you will find encouragement, laughter, healing, and hope.

Not everyone is called to raise a large family. I totally believe that with all of my heart. Whether you are a family of two or twenty-two, I think you will find something for you in our successes, failures, and stumbling about in the process of Learning to Lead Our Imperfect Family.

There isn’t much room for perfection in families. Our flaws and quirks are what truly make us unique. And those attributes, no matter how strange to outsiders, are what draw us closer together. And that is exactly what God desires for us a family. Close to each other, and close to Him.
